See My Journey Through Cancer With Christ
I have had a series of good days since it was confirmed that I have cancer tumors in my brain. The good news from the neurologist is that this is “not a death sentence,” whereas ten years ago it would have been. There is a new treatment available. After they give me all the whole brain radiation they can over the course of fourteen days, if more tumors emerge, they can warm them with lasers until they go away. I am hopeful now that we can address the tumors as they arise.
My daughter Bethany has been taking excellent care of me. I have trouble knowing when to take my medications and she handles all of that for me, among other things. The chemo has me wiped out every day but I’m still having good days emotionally.
I am very grateful for the support I get on social media from my Catholic contacts. It means everything to me at the moment.
