Fr. Pavone thanks President Trump for proclamation for unborn

TITUSVILLE, FL – Father Frank Pavone, National Director of Priests for Life, today thanked President Trump for proclaiming January 22 National Sanctity of Human Life Day.

“With this designation,” Father Pavone said, “President Trump allows our nation to reclaim this infamous day that marks the start of the legalized child murder in our nation. Roe v. Wade and Doe v. Bolton, decided on Jan. 22, 1973, allowed for abortion through all nine months of pregnancy and for any reason.

“Since 1974, outraged and heartbroken pro-life Americans have gathered in our nation’s capital to decry this decision and to demand the restoration of the rights of the unborn. The president’s proclamation is a powerful statement to the nation that the killing of babies must end, as must the charade that calls this violence constitutional.’”

The proclamation reads:
“As a Nation, restoring a culture of respect for the sacredness of life is fundamental to solving our country’s most pressing problems.  When each person is treated as a beloved child of God, individuals can reach their full potential, communities will flourish, and America will be a place of even greater hope and freedom.”

Father Pavone noted the proclamation also served as a summation of the president’s major accomplishments for the unborn.

“We call on all citizens to learn more deeply the numerous prolife accomplishments of President Trump’s historic Administration, which are summarized at The better we know them, the more we will be able to defend them against the extremism of the Democrats, who want no limits whatsoever on abortion.”
