Nouvelle théologie (French for “new theology”) a theological group and method of theology that was resistant to Scholasticism and traditional Thomism. It is THE theology of Vatican II and its aftermath. The name comes from the 1946 article of Fr. Reginald Garrigou-Lagrange “Where is the NEW THEOLOGY leading us?”
