The Last Leaf is a short story by O. Henry. Sudie and her sister Jonsey live in an apartment together. Jonsey has been stricken with influenza. Watch as she proves to Sudie and to us how important it is for the sick to have the will to live, and that the truest form of love is to lay down one’s life for one’s brother or sister.
This film is only 19 minutes long, but speaks volumes.
