FRANCISCAN FRIARS — Ave Maria! Fr. Elias gives a tour of the Grasshopper Chapel, built to honor Mary, and to pray for her help during the grasshopper/locust plagues of the 1870’s. These prayers quickly ended the plagues and they never occurred again. He also tells the life story and sufferings of Sr. Annella Zervas, OSB and the possibilities for her cause for sainthood. Father relates this to the coronavirus and how we should turn to prayer during this difficult time, especially asking help from Mary the Mother of God.
