HANOVER, Penn., Oct. 15, 2025 /Christian Newswire/ — This past weekend, 23,090 individual rosary rallies were held simultaneously across America, from the rocky shores of Maine to the sandy beaches of San Diego, as part of the Public Square Rosary Crusade. Organized through America Needs Fatima, these rallies were held to pray for the conversion of souls, the protection of our country from evil, and for a return to morality in our culture.
During the rallies, groups recited the holy rosary together, sang hymns to the Blessed Mother, and prayed for specific intentions. While the flagship rally was held in front of Rockefeller Plaza in Manhattan, rallies ranging from several people to several hundred were held on street corners and other busy locations in every state. Most rally captains reported receiving positive honks and waves from passersby, although some faced negative reactions. In those instances, rallies goers were undeterred.
“It was such a blessing and bliss filled my soul to feel connected to Our Lady,” said rally captain Belinda B. from Santa Rosa, Calif.
This is the eighteenth year these organized rallies have been held in October, commemorating the Miracle of the Sun that took place near Fatima at noon on October 13, 1917. On that day, 70,000 people witnessed the sun “dance” in a biblical and brilliant display of the power of God through the intercession of His Holy Mother – a sign that Our Lady keeps her promises.
“It was rewarding to see so many people answer the call to organize rallies in their communities this weekend,” said Francis Slobodnik, district manager with America Needs Fatima. “Together, we called out to Our Blessed Mother to stop the evil and moral decline that is promoted throughout media, schools, and entertainment. What an awesome sight to behold!”
