TITUSVILLE, FL — Priests for Life National Director Frank Pavone today reacted to news that the House Energy and Commerce Committee’s portion of the budget reconciliation bill would stop funding for abortion providers, including Planned Parenthood.
“Good news from Congress,” Pavone said. “The Energy and Commerce Committee put the language into the reconciliation bill to stop the funding of Big Abortion. We told supporters in an action alert Thursday that they only had a few more days before the Committee vote to urge Congress in the strongest terms possible not to let our taxpayer dollars fund abortion. They listened. Committee members found the strength to do the right thing.”
