Elizabeth Tori was a good friend of mine and I will miss her. She was a great champion of the unborn in the Kentucky State Senate. May she rest in peace. Obituary here.

“Elaine and I were saddened to hear of the passing of former Kentucky State Senator Elizabeth Tori. The daughter of a veteran and wife of a retired Army Major, Elizabeth was a constant advocate for Kentucky’s active duty military and the many veterans who call the Commonwealth home. Serving Kentucky’s 10th District for over 16 years, Elizabeth was always looking for ways to improve the lives of our servicemembers and to give them the thanks they deserve. Now it’s our turn to give thanks to Elizabeth for all her years inside and outside the state legislature serving Kentucky’s veterans, students, and families. We send our condolences to Elizabeth’s four children and all her friends and family at this difficult time.”
