Sandra Merritt’s undercover videos exposed some Planned Parenthood affiliates performing unlawful abortion techniques to harvest and sell the aborted baby’s organs to companies who then sold them for huge profits.
Sandra’s videos resulted in judgments against several organ procurement companies that purchased the abortion giant’s grim offerings. But not one Planned Parenthood executive or doctor was ever charged. Instead, Sandra Merritt faces up to 10 years in prison and 16 million dollars in civil fines.
Orange County, California, District Attorney Tony Rackauckas filed suit against some of the companies Sandra exposed, including DaVinci Biosciences and its sister company DV Biologics, for advertising and selling “hundreds of units of fetal tissue and stem cells to research facilities around the world, collecting tens of thousands of dollars in revenue.”
The DA’s office published a sample price list for the baby body parts: (1) Heart – up to $674 in profit; (2) Liver – up to $233 in profit; (3) Stomach – up to $221 in profit; and (4) Small Intestine – up to $664 in profit.
The DA said, “From 2009 to 2015, the defendants obtained aborted fetus donations from Planned Parenthood and turned those donations into a profit-driven business. They did so by selling tissues and cells from the heart, lungs, kidneys, brain, intestines, skeletal muscle, and bones of the aborted fetus donations…. earning hundreds of thousands of dollars in revenue.
The defendants pressed onward, year after year, in an attempt to beat their ‘competition’ and increase margins … They were encouraged to offer discounts, coupons, and sales-pricing on fetal products to move ‘inventory’ more quickly.”
Some of these companies were ordered to pay fines of up to 7.8 million dollars. Some shuttered their doors. Others continue operation until this day. But NO ONE at Planned Parenthood was ever charged with a crime.
Instead, Sandra Merritt, whose undercover videos sealed the organ companies’ convictions, is the one facing up to 10 years in prison and 16 million dollars in civil fines — all for exposing this horror.
The politically motivated criminal case against Sandra is ongoing as is the multimillion-dollar civil lawsuit filed by Planned Parenthood. The videos and the prior hearings in these cases reveal the Jezebel spirit at work.
Dr. Theresa Deisher, an expert in adult stem cell research who obtained her Ph.D. in Molecular and Cellular Physiology from Stanford University School of Medicine, read various studies involving baby human hearts procured from StemExpress, which were sourced from Planned Parenthood. She knew those studies had to be conducted while the hearts were still beating when cut out, without anesthesia, from the babies.
Dr. Mary Gatter, former medical director of Planned Parenthood Los Angeles (PPLA), and Jon Dunn, CEO of Planned Parenthood Orange & San Bernardino Counties, were former business partners of the DaVinci companies that were shut down for illegally selling baby organs from Planned Parenthood.
Dr. Gatter described PPLA’s fetal tissue program with Novogenix Laboratories, acknowledging PPLA was “used to getting a set fee for each specimen” harvested. Gatter admitted that PPLA never complied with Planned Parenthood Federation of America national guidelines that affiliates engage an independent auditor to make sure fetal tissue payments were merely reimbursements and not illegal profit or valuable consideration.
While negotiating prices for livers, thymus, brains, hearts, lungs, and other body parts at a restaurant in Pasadena, Gatter said, “I want a Lamborghini.”
Dr. Deborah Nucatola, medical director of Planned Parenthood, described using ultrasound guidance to flip a baby in the womb to the feet-first breech position — an unlawful procedure that endangers the mother’s life — to extract the baby intact and harvest whole, fresh organs.
“So then you’re just kind of cognizant of where you put your graspers, you try to intentionally go above and below the thorax, so that, you know, we’ve been very good at getting heart, lung, liver, because we know that, so I’m not gonna crush that part, I’m going to basically crush below, I’m gonna crush above, and I’m gonna see if I can get it all intact…. [I]f you do it starting from the breech presentation, there’s dilation that happens as the case goes on, and often, the last, you can evacuate an intact calvarium at the end… And we’ve been pretty successful with that, I’d say,” said Nucatola as she sipped wine and ate a salad.
Nucatola spoke openly in the busy restaurant, casually discussing Planned Parenthood’s crimes for anyone to hear. Nucatola has performed tens of thousands of abortions, including up to 200 in one week.
But only Sandra now faces prison. Sandra’s criminal trial begins in less than two weeks. And the 16-million-dollar civil case against her continues. Sandra’s case is the longest and most expensive case in Liberty Counsel history. Without YOU, Sandra Merritt would already be in prison.
