TITUSVILLE, FL — “Mothers and their babies will be safer in Ohio today after the Ohio Supreme Court ruled against granting a license to late-term abortionist Martin Haskell,” said Father Frank Pavone, National Director of Priests for Life.

The court today declined to review Haskell’s appeal of the 2016 revocation of his license to operate the Women’s Med Center in Columbus. The killing center has been operating without a license for three years, ending the lives of 3,000 babies a year.

“The state can finally close this abortion mill and end the slaughter,” Father Pavone said. “The court’s action was the answer to many prayers and something for which Ohio pro-life activists can be proud.”

Priests for Life Youth Director Bryan Kemper, an Ohio resident, said “We are excited here in Ohio to see an end in sight to the killing days of Haskell and not to see mothers being taken from his facility by ambulance. The Ohio Supreme Court has helped make our state safer for women and babies.”

Quote of the week

“When I shrink from suffering, Jesus reproves me and tells me that He did not refuse to suffer. Then I say ‘Jesus, Your will and not mine’. At last I am convinced that only God can make me happy, and in Him I have placed all my hope…”
St. Gemma Galgani
