TITUSVILLE, FL –Father Frank Pavone, National Director of Priests for Life, has joined the call for the federal Food and Drug Administration (FDA) to seize the web domains for companies that are illegally sending dangerous abortion drugs to women in the U.S.
Father Pavone said: “There is no doubt where the President stands on this. The Trump Administration is strengthening and enforcing every day the pro-life and ethical protections that are in place, and is implementing new policies that are in its power to create, for building a culture of life.”
In a letter to FDA Commissioner Stephen Hahn, pro-life leaders – including Father Pavone – noted that the web domains AidAcess, Rablon and others have been illegally selling mifespristone – the second drug in the two-step chemical abortion process – despite being warned against such sales a year ago by the FDA.
The letter asks the FDA to do take action as it did last year to address the sales of illicit vaping cartridges.
“We urge FDA to protect women from the distributers of abortion-inducing drugs who place lives at risk by circumventing your agency’s regulatory safeguards,” the letter reads.
Priests for Life Youth Director Bryan Kemper also signed the letter to the FDA.
