More importantly, the Chinese regime has exploited the pandemic to position itself as the next dominant power in the world by attacking and discrediting the United States, splintering the US from its friends and allies, and portraying America as a dying country with China being the way to a sunny future. At the same time, Beijing is exploiting our polarized country internally by interfering in the 2020 presidential elections to help defeat Donald Trump in favor of a more pliable American president.
