Officials in China have agreed to provide money and land for the rebuilding of a Catholic church demolished by the Chinese government. The compensation comes after parishioners barricaded themselves in the building to protest the demolition. The Heritage Foundation’s Lee Edwards has analysis of the state of religious freedom in the communist country.
