pavoneTITUSVILLE, FL – Father Frank Pavone, National Director of Priests for Life, today saluted the efforts of Kentucky Gov. Matt Bevin to highlight the state’s protection of unborn children.

“Tomorrow, at the Daviess County Courthouse in Owensboro, Gov. Bevin will ceremonially sign four laws aimed at saving lives,” Father Pavone said. “The laws would protect babies from abortion after a heartbeat can be detected and from being killed based on their race, gender or health status; inform mothers that a chemical abortion can be stopped after she takes the first pill in the two-drug regimen, and make abortion illegal in Kentucky once Roe v. Wade has been overturned.

“Gov. Bevin has demonstrated time and again that his belief in the sanctity of life is deep-rooted and that he will continue to work on behalf of all the citizens of Kentucky, born and pre-born. We need more people like him in our nation.”

Quote of the week

“When I shrink from suffering, Jesus reproves me and tells me that He did not refuse to suffer. Then I say ‘Jesus, Your will and not mine’. At last I am convinced that only God can make me happy, and in Him I have placed all my hope…”
