Reverend Jeremy Wind, a Catholic priest, attempted to rape a parishioner at a bakery in a mall. She fled to her car and drove away. A police officer approached Wind who then told the officer that he had tried to rape the woman. Wind then said that he also wanted to rape the police officer.
Incredibly, this priest was reinstated at a parish in the Diocese of Sioux City after his receiving mental health treatment, and the diocese did not tell parishioners what had happened.
